a little about me

Hello! I’m Michelle Perrier.

In our work together, you'll find a compassionate space where you can navigate life's transitions and challenges, from traumatic experiences and relationship dynamics to managing intense emotions like anxiety, depression, and stress.

My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own experiences with trauma, identity, and loss. I personally understand the impact that trauma has on the body, mind, and soul. After a career in advertising, I realized I was yearning for deeper meaning and connection. After almost losing my father, I committed fully to living my purpose as a therapist.

I am a multiracial Korean, white, and Native American millennial cisgender woman. I bring a multicultural and relational lens to therapy, honoring how identity, culture, and community shape our mental health. I believe healing is not just personal. It is relational, communal, and embodied.

I am trained in EMDR, a powerful tool for processing trauma. I believe we all have an innate ability to heal, and my goal is to empower you with the tools you need to thrive. My clients have experienced less anxiety, greater presence, better stress management, trauma processing, and increased confidence.

Using EMDR, mindfulness, somatic practices, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), we address anxiety and trauma by exploring your attachment patterns, relationship dynamics, and past experiences. We will work on deepening your connection to your body and emotions, guiding you away from constant fight-or-flight responses.

If you're seeking a path filled with compassion, acceptance, and connection, I warmly invite you to reach out. Together, let's navigate towards peace and resilience.

Outside of therapy, you might find me running (currently training for my first marathon!), hiking, traveling, listening to music or spending time in nature. I also love connecting with friends and hanging out with my sweet 13 years old pug, Stevie.

I specialize in working with trauma, abuse, stress, anxiety, depression, and attachment issues.

  • At the core of my therapy practice is the belief in the profound impact of early relationships on both the mind and body, guided by EMDR and Polyvagal Theory and the interconnectedness of our physiological and emotional experiences. I integrate this understanding with a strong emphasis on radical acceptance, helping clients embrace their present circumstances and emotions without judgment. Through a blend of psychodynamic insights, mindfulness, EMDR reprocessing, somatic practices, and a deep focus on the body-mind connection, my eclectic and relational approach aims to foster self-awareness, emotional healing, and resilience, ultimately leading to more fulfilling and balanced lives.

Liberate you inner healer.
